Our experience working on the Great Falls Recreation and Aquatic Center proposal

by

Working on the Great Falls Recreation and Aquatics Project was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with great local consultants and @Opsis, a fellow architecture firm I chose for their expertise and track record of amazing communication beginning to end. Working with Jim Kalvelage and his team felt like jamming . We appreciate making it into the top three out of ten proposals, and the opportunity to interview with the City of Great Falls. Whoever wins this contract will benefit from the thought that went into all proposals, and at the end our City will gain a wonderful new amenity.

Our design features sloped roofs, and a expandable floor plan, inspired by rock outcroppings of the Central Montana plains. We located it for close bus, pedestrian, and bike access towards the West, and great commercial visibility and traffic access to the East.
